NBP has been able to influence NRF spend on the following project, to be delivered through community organisations. We are looking to develop further partnerships and delivery mechanisms as and when the opportunities arise.

The Development of Community and Voluntary Sector Capacity and Infrastructure for the Indian Communities in Nottingham

The Health Advocacy Project, facilitated by the NBP for the Indian Community Centre Association, will provide information, support and guidance to individuals about their rights and what they can expect from the Health Service. This will include the reduction of stigma and promotion of positive mental health.

BME communities, asylum seekers and refugees will be provided with sound knowledge on health issues and services, and also on their rights and how to access them.
